Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), Customer Engineer, Solution Architect, Cloud Architect – Different organizations use different names for this role, which is primarily responsible for ensuring customers’ success with their cloud deployments and investments. Just being technical experts won’t be sufficient for you to become a CSA. CSAs not only need to keep pace with enormous speed at which technology is innovating and new features are getting released, they also need to ensure that cloud solutions are running as expected, scale up or down with the demand and getting adopted by users. At the same time, they also need to help customers meet their business objectives while taking care of interests of their own employers.
As you can see, there’s a lot that goes in CSA role. Many developers and engineers aspire to become CSA as a next step in their career progression, and existing architects want to become more effective in their role. I keep getting questions on these topics. In this live podcast with Ilyas F I’ll provide guidance based on my personal experience and answer any questions that you might have!
